| Tom and I are moving to the Hill Country to live closer to nature. We bought a house in San Antonio that we renovated ourselves in a modern European style, with a contemplative nature garden and water feature. We bought a 21-acre land near Bandera where we plan to restore a native ecosystem and create a wild bird sanctuary. This led us to the Texas Master Naturalists.

| During the COVID pandemic, my husband and I started to transform our lives. We are moving to the Texas Hill Country to have more freedom/independence and nature in our lives. We bought a 50-year-old house in San Antonio that we renovated ourselves to create a modern European one-level penthouse, accompanied by a contemplative nature garden with a stream and pond to welcome the suburban wildlife. We bought a 21-acre land near Bandera where we are working to restore a native ecosystem and create sanctuary for wild birds and pollinators. This is what led me to the Texas Master Naturalists.

| I am now a designer. With my husband Tom who is an engineer, we create new ways of living in harmony with nature, which we share on our subscription website Fivemile Hill, in order to help restore biodiversity and nurture meaningful bonds with others. We believe in nurturing nature and the wise of technology to create healthy and resilient living spaces for humans and wildlife.
