I am a designer. I create new ways of living in harmony with nature in order to help restore biodiversity.

I am originally French-Indonesian and come from tropical islands of the Indian ocean. I was born in Indonesia and grew up in Réunion Island, a French territory east of Madagascar. My middle name Mei-Hoa (美 mei: beautiful, 花 hoa: flower) comes from my Chinese-Indonesian heritage . I have also lived in Paris, New York, Scandinavia, Germany, and the Bay Area.
I love nature and exploring the wilderness. I have done marathons in Greenland, dog-mushing and skiing expeditions in the Arctic, horseback treks in the Namib desert, scuba-diving with sharks in Cocos Island, among others. These life-changing experiences taught me that I needed nature and wildlife in my daily life.
I also love fine arts. Growing up, I practiced ballet and played the violin in student orchestras, including a performance at the Sydney Opera House with the Stanford Symphony Orchestra. I love to eat and create culinary experiences, especially combining natural ingredients and flavors from different parts of the world into new delicious ways. I am a Certified Sake Professional.
I came to the United States for college. I am a Stanford graduate (BA Economics, BS/MS Symbolic Systems). For 15 years, I led a fast-paced life in global cities, working as a management consultant and technology expert to senior leaders across North America and Western Europe, first at global consultancy Boston Consulting Group (BCG), then independently with my husband. I also served as a reserve officer of the French Air Force in cyber defense and strategy for 3 years.
During the COVID pandemic, I started to transform my life with my husband. We moved to San Antonio and purchased land in the Texas Hill Country to live closer to nature. I started a new professional chapter where I embrace my multicultural heritage, love for nature, and creativity to become a designer.
